George W. Flanders was born on February 22, 1842 and died in 1927. He made a quartz mill and a wood mill. Another two of his “creations” were two water wheels. One water wheel had 125 h.p. And the other had 225 h.p. When he was 18 years old he joined the army and became an infantryman in the civil war. He definitely lived an interesting life.
