Brandi Cernalavich

by Brynn

I was very excited to learn about Brandi Cernalavich. She was born on March 25, 1974 in Billings, Montana. The family she grew up in was nice and as she grew up they got nicer. Her education went all the way up to college; she studied in Colorado. Her favorite teachers were Mr. Bayne and Mr. Coppel. Ever since Middle School she has been interested in art. She trained at RMCAD. Her office is in her house. Her inspiration for art was Van Gough and Klimt. Her art is shown in houses and on her website. She got her ideas from nature. She uses mixed materials to do her art.

She suggests using her art to do a landscape collage. To do the landscaping collage we will need paint, glue, paper and a canvas and then do them in this order: glue paper to canvas, paint on paper then let dry. It was very fun getting to see Brandi’s office and to get to look at some of her work on her website. I hope I can do it again some time.
